FAQs
What is the dress code?
Friday rehearsal dinner/welcome party: The welcome party is an indoor venue, so please dress in cocktail attire.
Saturday ceremony and reception: The dress code is formal. Women are encouraged to wear floor-length or tea-length dresses, while men should opt for suits or tuxedos. For inspiration, please refer to the photos in the following link: https://pin.it/cbsq0czJT.
Sunday Watch Party: Come enjoy a Sunday full of NFL football at Pumphouse with the bride and groom.
Is this an adults-only wedding?
We love your kids, but we’ve decided to invite only the children of immediate family to the wedding.
Do I get a plus one?
Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation as “and guest” or your partner’s name.
What time should I get to the ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 1 pm, so please arrive by 12:30 to find your seats and get comfortable.
What time is the reception?
The reception will start at 5:30 pm. Please enjoy the museum; the exhibits will be open to guests during our cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30.
What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?
Commonly known as “The Catholic Gap,” we will have three hours of downtime between the ceremony and the reception. Please take this time to enjoy a cocktail or small bite to eat. Please visit our “Things to do” page to see some of our favorite bars and restaurants. Some are even within walking distance from the Church.
How should I get to the Church and Art Museum?
The Church and Venue are a short drive from all hotels. We encourage you to Uber / Lyft to the venue, but there is parking at both venues.
Is there an open bar?
Yes! Drinks are on us — but the hangover is on you. We are excited to celebrate!
When do I need to RSVP by?
If you have any edits to your RSVP, please submit by September 1st.
Where should I stay?
We have three hotel blocks and other hotel recommendations in downtown Wichita- please see the “Travel and Stay” tab for additional details!
